i'm sore. not quite sure why. maybe it was the workout from yesterday? or working - carrying a shitload of clothes, reaching to get/fix clothes in high place, the two flights of chairs, the two bars of hangers i had to carry up the two flights of stairs? my tummy is full from all the food i ate and the alcohol from last night. i got to stop eating so much! i'm finishing Animal Farm - so so so excited because i went to the library and saw a 1950s animation of it. i trying to hurry up and finish so i can watch.

think first before you snort, inject, or smoke that herion.

think about puppies when you think of herion, really. the past few weeks, i have been waking up and watching MSNBC while laying half asleep still in bed or as i am making-eating breakfast. listening to the stocking exchange, tops stories, politics, business news, etc. it's great. one of today's stories was on the prosecution of drug smugglers in New York.Columbian drug smugglers have been surgically placing bags of herion into little labrador puppies' stomaches. ten pups were found. six of them with three kilograms in them, while three died due to infections after the removal of the herion. so yeah, think about the poor puppies that died so these herion addicts can get their fix.

online radio. the greatest thing ever. being away from KSCU, i miss out on all the great new music. this past week, i went back to online radio. loving it. i was thinking since KFRC sucks now, i ought to check out the online oldies stations too. i found this one station [the music file] that plays indie rock and some 60s & 70s [cass elliot, charles wright & the watts 103rd street rhythm band, nouvelle vague, van morrison, iron and wine with calexico, the decemberist, etc.]; the only problem is that the host didn't do such a great job shuffling the tracks - three rilo kiley tracks played in a row! currently, i am listening to Echoes of Sounds which plays downtempo, jazz, indie, shoegaze, hip hop, etc. so far, i have heard sigur ros, four tet, daedelus, and a bunch of other really good artists-bands. live365, check it out.
pros: 1. no commerical [well, only an ad or two] and PSAs! 2. viewable playlist

cons: 1. limited playlist

i'm the greatest sister ever. i gave my little sister a copy of Delia's to look at.
she said to me, "are you trying to hide me sometehing?!?"
i responded, "maybe?"
she gasped and replied, "hey!"
no, no. much love to my little sister. she's not as girly as me at that age [10, she's turning 11 in February!]. she's into here own thing which i let her be. i give her pointer here and there, but i want her to be herself and develop her own thing. as adult, you are to show paths, open gatways, and help guide-advise them to the paths where there is light, but you ought to not force them to take certains paths. you give and show them options, and it is up to them to decide on their own. my little sister dresses a litle corky, but she doesn't care. why should i? today, i gave her a bunch of catalogs to look at, so she can see and create her own style. she's in the pre-teen stage now where i think dressing a "certain way" might be essential to her social life in school. everyone goes through different phrase in their life where they feels likke them have to fit in. later on, they will look at it and think, "why did i care so much about that?" i put it has a learning experience.it helps us develop as a person as long we move past it. although as adult, we go through it too, but we just dono't realize it at times. it all occurs in different ascepts. what do you think?

tonight, chicken sonoma coop and the sharks game! yay!

can someone explain to me, please?

Cache [translated: Hidden]. tonight, i went to see the french film Cache with Tyler which has won several European film awards. i walked out asking myself what the film was about. being quite relieved when i heard an elderly woman asked one of the camera 12 workers if he has seen it because she had no clue what it was about. i must say that the film made me more angry than touched. or maybe, outraged is more of the term? how could a person be so uncompassionate? as i told tyler, the movie is up there with Brown Bunny [minus the 10 minute blow job scene] on the level of confusion. reading some of the reviews on the movie, i think Tyler is right though. the point of the film is probably showing you that the actions you took as a young child which you didn't think much about could have such a dramatic effect in the long run. [i.e. Garden State, Andrew pushing his mom because he was mad. he didn't think it would have made her fall and end up paralyzing her.] i have some other hypotheses on other points the movie is trying to show, but it's too much for me to type. check it out and we can discuss it! hopefully, i haven't said too much to ruin the movie.

What is a person to do? so here's the deal - please, read first. after reading the article, i was thinking of boycotting Macho Taco. it wouldn't feel right to eat there. thinking really hard about it, i wanted to check it out still and i did. i know, it's awful. here's the dl for all y'all peeps:
~ workers are very nice sincere folks who don't know their 'ish like they ought to
~ i rocked the veggie and fish taco. veggie taco had refried bean yo! fish tacos, rubio's is still the best. right after it, taco surf! [fyi: chicken tacos, best joint is super taqueria. go veggie if you want and minus the chicken, still damn good. they hook it up with the avocado slices. don't forget to add cilantro and hot sauce.]
~ no condiments! no diced onions, lemons/limes, minced cilantros, pico de gallo, or most importantly HOT SAUCE! weak. it's like going to a pho place with no hoisin sauce, the red rooster hot sauce, or satay. tsk, tsk.

THE VERDICT: you can pass up this joint. also unlike me, you wouldn't have to think about by eating there you will be supporting and generating revenue for folks with no conscience.

Project Runway. i truely do look forward to Wednesday nights. not only do i get to watch new episodes of Project Runway, i get to eat good food [brie, bread, fig jam, chocolate fondue, etc.]!
i love, love both Daniels! i love Daniel Franco because he is so adorable, nice, and pungy. but lately, Daniel V. the boy can design! he's also a sweetheart; i love how in episode 8 he told nick to suck it up and focus.look at that hair too, all nice, brown, and wavy.

i thought Kara's dress should have won though. oh, Santino has mellowed down a little. thank goodness, it's for his own good that cocky lil' bitch. he's a total crack up though with his Tim impersonations. this episode [#9] was probably by far the funniest and one of the best designs, i think. here are my predictions for top 3: Daniel V, Chloe, Santino [?], and Nick [?]. it's too hard to decide between Santino and Nick. if anything, it might be 3 of those boys. Kara, she has not improven to me that she has what it takes to make it to the top 3. all her designs has been plain, nothing new and creative. although, her last design was amazing. as for Andrae, tough love baby.

wow. it's been a while. glancing through my entries, i have no idea what i wrote and why i wrote them. okay, i lied. i have an idea. what is the purpose of a journal anyway? what would i write anyway? a bunch of random nonsense? spilling all my emotions out while being unable to do so to person in person? what's my problem - i don't know.

let's see how i make use of this livejournal. and oh, yeah. blogspot. i got one of those too. i think maybe even two. also, a geocities for my radio show which i probably haven't updated in about 3 years. i suck at keeping up with things.

so here goes some emotion crap. it hurts a lot when you are trying to be a person's friend and the person make little efforts. it is usually the repeat of the same thing over and over. i don't know why i put up with this with this person because i usually don't with others. i am at the point where i am very, very tired. maybe this person is my achilles heel. now, i feel inspired to do something.

ah. it has been awhile.
i went to see "13 going on to 30" yesterday with Nicole. it was a slow movie.
i am very thankful for Cinema Saver 10. i can go see cheesy so-so rated movies for only $3.50 or $1.75 (tuesdays).

there has been a foul smell in our house (downstairs). we don't know what it is.
(to be continued ... i have to do so school/group work before i leave for my radio show).

i know i haven't written in a LONG time. two reasons:
1. finals
2. after finals = laziness

alright, tonight i went to help out with the Basement show. i felt bad because Jason (Thinh) called, but i was stucked at the basement and couldn't come to get him. there was shortness with help tonight. it was a good draw of people compared to the last few basement shows.
afterwards, i went to the Blanket Club for Fake by myself because Nicole and Alan decided not to go. BOO on them. BUT, nicole's friend Dennis spotted me there. so i dance with him and his friends Debbie and Adam. i was SO glad they were there! i wasn't sure if Eidelyn and Michael were coming, but they showed up around 1am. there were more people there than i thought there would be.
anywho. Dennis was asking me to check out this guy for him to see if he was gay, but

oh, gosh. i am usually not in downtown San Jose on a weekend night. it was packed with people, cops, and cars. there was so much traffic. it was something that i did not expect at all.

last week was an awful, awful week - a MAJOR BITCH. the funny thing is that i don't remember the details, and it feels like it was several weeks ago.
i was SICK, stressed, and had lots on my mind.
it turned out that i didn't just have allegeries. i had a cold. i was coughing. also, i find out how i was sick. i think it was because the combination of two things: 1) i slept with my window open one night 2) another night i slept with wet hair. last week, i AGAIN slept with wet hair, which explained why my nose was all runny that night.
i was SO tired. there was much lack of sleep last week. my coughing kept me awake throughout the night.

i believe Wednesday night was the worst. i kept waking up every few hours.
a) go DOWNSTAIRS to get water - my throat was super dry
b) get out of bed to get tissue for my runny nose
c) my coughing just did not STOP!

i was feeling stressed with school and career matters. i have had two interviews for an inernship - no luck. i was feeling in need of a paid internship.

my new cell phone. on top,

i am SO relieved to today. my MCOM 72 professor was saying how some people did NOT follow directions. however, since they did put in the effort, he gave him a D+. i thought i was going to get a D+. i thought feel that i didn't follow directions and didn't ANALYZE the articles. i really DID NOT want to get my paper back in fear of getting an awful grade. the guy who seats behind me and i were saying that we would be happy with a C. i just wanted to pass the class at that point after realizing what a shitty paper i wrote. although, i thought the introduction was very well developed. the rest was a bunch of last minute BS. it was 3am; i was tired and wanted to sleep. i was astounded when i looked at my paper and saw that i got an A-. here is the exact comment my professor wrote:
"very well written & thoroughly researched. The major problem with this paper is that it spends more time retelling the story than analyzing media content. However, the strength of the research & the quality of the writting largely overcome this issue. It's an interesting & informative piece of work."
*blush* now, there is still a chance for me to get an A in the class. yay!

well, my back is not hurting as much anymore. i'm also not as sore. my cough is definitely here to stay for awhile. the right side of my ribs hurts now because of my constant coughing. as an addition, my congested drippy nose and dehydration kept me away from a straight night sleep. i was waking up every 1 or 2 hours blowing my nose or getting a drink of water. i don't know why i have been so dehydrate these past few weeks/ couple of months.

with great sweetness, school is soon to be OVER! =) then summer session. =(
